World Language 28th February - After our half term break , we celebrated International Mother Language Day on Friday 21st February. International Mother Language Day is celebrated every year on 21st February and its main purpose is to promote the awareness of language and cultural diversity all across the world. International Mother Language Day is celebrated in memory of the four students who were killed on 21st February 1952 while fighting for their mother language and is celebrated to tell them that we will never forget their sacrifices.
Pupils and Staff dressed up in either the traditional dress of a country of their choice or in the colours of the flag of that country.
