Our delicious school lunches are made fresh to order each day by our Catering Unit Manager Mrs Whellans. All school meals are cooked daily on the premises and served in the hall. Children will receive a two course meal; vegetarian or special diet meals can be arranged. Please contact the school office if you would like to organise either vegetarian or special diet meals for your child at lunch time.
Children are encouraged to take fresh vegetables, and to try all the foods on offer. Fresh fruit is always available as an alternative to the main sweet. Children are encouraged to use the correct cutlery and use good table manners. Lunchtime supervisory staff supervise the children at lunch time.
School dinners cost £2.35 for a two course meal each day (£11.75 per week). We ask that dinner money is paid directly to the school office.
All children in reception, year 1 and year 2 will be entitled to receive Universal Free School Meals through a government funded scheme where all infant age pupils are entitled to a hot school meal free of charge regardless of individual financial circumstances.
It is still essential that if you are entitled to income related free school meals you apply as greater benefits will be received for school and yourself.
